Chowder the Bulldog's Running Mate Contest Overview and Rules

 

  1. Eligibility:
  • Participants must be18 years or older at the time of entry. Minors may participate only with written parental consent.
  • The contest is void where prohibited by law.
  • Pets are not limited to dogs and cats. Any type of animal that is a pet can be featured.
  1. How to Enter:
  • Participants must express their interest by emailing Chowder@Chowderthebulldog.com.
  • Contest organizers will send participants  more detailed information, a liability waiver and contest links.
  • After receiving the entry confirmation, participants should create a video of their pet "explaining" why they would make the perfect Vice Paw-sident. The video must be no longer than 45 seconds and in 9:16 aspect ratio.
  • The video must be submitted to Chowder@Chowderthebulldog.com for approval by the contest deadline.
  • Once approved, the video will be shared as a collaborative Reel on Instagram and Facebook, and on TikTok video. Chowder’s team and the participant will determine the best posting date for the collaborative Reel and schedule accordingly.
  • The Videos will also be featured on a Vice President Contest Page on the Chowderthebulldog.com website, where all videos will be available for viewing throughout the Chowder for President Campaign.
  • The videos may be provided to press as part of a press release.
  • Only one entry per pet is allowed.
  1. Content Guidelines:
  • Videos should be original, creative, and showcase the pet’s personality.
  • No offensive, inappropriate, or political content is allowed. Videos must not contain any human political or paw-tisan messages.
  • By submitting a video, participants agree to allow the contest organizers to share and use the video content for promotional purposes across various social media platforms and with media.
  1. Fundraising:
  • Each participant will receive a personalized fundraising link for the donation platform, Tiltify, which they can use to gather donations for Best Friends Animal Society.
  • The pet that raises the most funds by 9 pm PDT on September 27, 2024, will be declared the winner.
  • No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.
  1. Prizes:
  • Grand Prize: The winning pet will receive a personalized gift basket with pet treats, toys, clothes and a $200 Amazon gift card for the pet’s owner.
  • Participation Prize: All participants will receive a “Chowder for President” campaign pack, including personalized campaign swag and a personalized T-shirt featuring the pet’s name as a VP candidate.
  1. Winner Selection:
  • The winner will be determined based on the total amount of funds raised through their personalized Tiltify link by 9 pm PDT, September 27, 2024.
  • The winner will be announced on September 28, 2024, via Chowder’s social media accounts and online.
